We decided to take a Christmas break at the Doubletree by Hilton. Although the hotel was rather full, it certainly surprised us with the efficiency and ease the staff were able to handle the busy time: check-in was pretty quick considering the long queues, the main buffet restaurant was well organised and always ready to receive more guests - the tables were cleaned instantly, the buffet was constantly topped up with fresh food. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a lovely view of the bay. Even though there were evening activities and some noise in the evenings, at 10 pm it all ended and, to our surprise, it was absolutely quiet so we could get a decent sleep in our comfortable bed. We loved the spacious bathroom! The overall cleanliness of the room and facilities was great. Hotel facilities and activities were plentiful and they exceeded our expectations. This hotel was definitely a great value for money, we couldn't fault anything, had a fabulous Christmas break and would return again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is beautiful, the view from the room was of the gardens, pools and beach, we stayed in one of the smaller building blocks 2.4 not the main hotel. The pool facilities were great, the kids loved the splash area and slides. I had 3 young children with me and they loved it! Breakfast was really good, lots of variety. Staff were lovely Our cleaner for room 2425 Hussain I think his name was, he was amazing. So friendly and really helpful. The beach was lovely, water was crystal clear. Location was great, we rented a car so drove to RAK city which was really nice and found lots to do for the kids. Al Hamra mall nearby is good if you’re looking for some fast food and a supermarket. Really impressive hotel The kids club was great, kids loved it, mini disco too. Staff were fab!

Chloe

This resort is fabulous for the family. It has a lot of facilities for children: A children's pool, an indoor children's play area with staff for watching children, an outdoor children's play area, and a water park. All these facilities are highly safe. This hotel is the best for families to have a great time. The breakfast is fabulous, with a lot of varieties. Although the hotel is quite huge with a lot of customers, everything at breakfast is well managed (no queue or shortage of food). Too many huge pools are available in the resort. Also, a long beach area is available. They are all well managed and fantastic. The staff is very friendly. I want to thank Paula and Anisun for being highly cooperative in showing us many room options before we finally settled.

Mustafa

Facility was good, they have water slides for kids, table tennis, chess, volleyball and long tennis court available. The staff was friendly and approachable. Leisure swimming pools are available in various location. Jacuzzi, Sauna and stem is available in the spa area. The other good thing is reading lounge or family lounge are available where people can read or play indoor games like cards. Water sports are managed by third party and chargeable. Overall experience was pleasant and good.

Samir

We stayed in the Deluxe King Room with Garden view. The room was very clean, excellent to accommodate a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 young kids. There were a lot of guest due to the Holiday but there were more than enough facilities to go around. The room service was amazing and the dining experience for the Christmas Dinner was the highlight of the stay. The staff during breakfast were accommodating and were very kind and playful with the kids. We are already planning to go back.
